according to this page, http://www.plasticsurgery.com/tummy-tuck/info.aspx recovery time is about 2-3 weeks before you can return to work and light physical activity, and about 4-6 weeks before you can resume strenuous activity, such as exercise.

Recovery from a tummy tuck is different for everyone, but on average patients are back to work in 2 to 4 weeks. It will take longer however to resume strenuous activity and work outs because the surgical site involves your core. I would not plan on getting back to such activity for more than 6 weeks following the procedure. You can read more on tummy tucks by clicking on the following link

How long after a tummy tuck do you start to see the results from the procedure?

You will see results immediately after you start healing and the swelling goes down.  I had my procedure done in Poland as I know european surgeons offer great healing treatments after tummy tucks and breast augmentations that speed up healing process.  Also by going to Poland I saved about $3800 on two procedures and that's a lot for me! I was up and running in a week and saw results after about 6-7 days.  If you would like to learn more about going to Poland here is a link to Kari Group I worked with.  Good luck!

I think every patient is different when it comes to recovery. Some people recover quicker than others and vice versa. Check with your surgeon as to what to expect during this time.

In general though, you are looking at least six weeks before you are able to resume your normal activities. In some cases, it can be months before you feel like your old self.

What has been found is that those patients who were physically fit before surgery recover quicker than those who aren’t. So, if you were a regular at the gym before your surgery then you will heal more quickly than those who don’t exercise.

Exercise can help with recovery but avoid very strenuous activities until your body is able to cope with them. This means no weight training or endless ab crunches!

Do a light exercise programme until your abdomen has healed and then return to your usual routine. Walking and swimming are ideal forms of exercise.

You may notice in the first two to three months that your scars appear to worsen rather than fade but this is entirely normal. They will fade over time but it can be as much as a year before they are hardly noticeable.

Overall, you can expect to be off work for two to three weeks and back to normal activities after six weeks.

Results from a tummy tuck procedure are immediate, but they continue to get better as the swelling and brusing resolve. And I agree with Gaurav that the better shape you are in, the faster you will recover. The same is true for a smokig history. If you have a smoking history you will heal slower and probably not as well as a non smoker

In order to have a full blast faster recovery, one has to rest and follow doctor's advice during the prescribed recovery period of the doctor.

The recovery generally depends on many factors including which areas were treated, body mass index, age and their personal discomfort tolerance. Desk-type work can be resumed by some patients in just few days and although soreness and tenderness will limit the speed with which a patient can move about, patients should be reasonably comfortable while sitting at a desk or working at a computer.

Keep in mind though that everybody is unique and accordingly your experience may vary.

Recovery time varies from person to person and also on the type of tummy tuck surgery procedure. Taking these things in mind you may need minimum 1 week and maximum 2 weeks to get back to normal routine.

Pete blinder as the surgeon in a short dress, which clothes for several weeks after surgery which is down from the clothes is concerned with patients. When the patent is carrying tick treatment, the patient is necessary and important role for a limited period of elasticized cloth socks. I really like this body at the bottom of leg blood clots helps to establish less.
Soft warm-ups, slow motion exercise and workouts, light running and non yrubk - exercise is surgery after positive results of rapid recovery in time to help. Organs of the body's normal and natural workouts Sushil inflammation and swelling of body types to help the patient. It gets rid of blood clots, the patient's immune system and strengthen. This means that not every kind of exercise are relevant for carrying on. After surgery the patient for 6 weeks of strictly heavy gym workouts full minimum has forbidden.

The recovery time after tummy tuck surgery depends on various type of factors such as your age, your health, life style, living nature and lots of more things. If you treat yourself on bedrest for some days the recovery will definitely go faster. Just do what your surgeon has been prescribed. You can collect more tummy tuck information anywhere on net.
