I HAVE BEEN THINKING OF A TUMMY TUCK FOR A FEW YEARS NOW , AFTER MY 3RD 9 LB CHILD MY STOMACH JUST DID NOT GO BACK! I HAVE JOINED A GYM I DO CARDIO & STRENTH TRAINING BUT MY MIDDLE WILL NOT GO AWAY!! NOW THAT IM 40 IT SEEMS TO HAVE GOTTEN WORSE!! DOES ANYONE KNOW DOES THIS SURGERY HELP THE UPPER STOMACH MUSCLE AS WELL AS THE LOWER ABS?? I AM VERY VERY FRUSTRATED , IM WANDERING ABOUT COST(SOME TELL ME A GOOD DR IS ABOUT 5000.00 ) THE SCARS ON SOME WEB-SITE PICS LOOK REALLY BAD , IF ANYONE HAS HAD ONE PLEASE HELP.........THANKS LISA

Lisa, a tummy tuck could definitely target the problem areas that you are describing. It is a better option for you than liposuction because a tummy tuck can remove the excess skin caused from birthing three children. A tummy tuck does however, result with a large scar when compared to liposuction. The scar is usually below the bikini line. Fair skinned individuals tend to heal with more discrete scars; where as people with darker skin sometimes have the tendency to form keloids. A keloid (dark, bulky scar), is a collection of fibrous repair tissue that may extend away from the surgical incision. As for the cost of the procedure, it varies with different surgeons

I am determined to have a tummy tuck, I need to know how I go about getting prices and ora payment plan if possible. I have three kids and i'm to young to feel this old. My confidence level will be so much healthier
