Is tummy tuck different for men and women? A friend who had one says no and another friend who had one said yes. If so, how are they different?

I can't tell you if they are different. I can only tell you about a Tummy Tuck Operation from a Guy's Point of View. I am a 54 year man and had a tummy tuck with lateral thigh lift one year ago. A complete description of the Surgery and Recovery with "Before" and "After" photos can be seen on my blog TummyTuckForMen .com.

Many men are concerned about having "love handles," a "pot belly," or a "spare tire." Such concerns are not unfounded; right or wrong, our society places a high value on looking fit and young, for men as well as women. Male abdominoplasty, also called " male tummy tuck," is a common procedure that can reduce the size of a protruding belly by removing excess skin and tightening the muscles in the midsection. Tummy tuck surgery, for many men, can deliver a flatter, tighter, more aesthetically appealing abdominal contour. Below, find a brief overview of the abdominoplasty procedure for men. you can also help our site.

yes there are technical differences between the male and female abdominoplasty due to specific differences. one thing i know, men have thicker skin than women and may do well with this surgery.

When it comes to the purpose of TT, there is not much of a difference. But in the procedure, there is a slight difference. We have to take into mind that the system of men and women are different. TT procedures will adapt on the kind of system the person has.
