I have asymmetry in my breasts. Right is larger than left. Right droops downward because of size while left is perky and has a small arreola. Right has large arreola. Went to consultation and was told I had 2 options. My cup size is 36B by the way. The asymmetry is noticeable but not very severe. I dont want to be too big, I just want symmetry.

I was told I would definitely need a lift to pick up the right breast. I was looking at getting 175 CC mentor implants. This would make me even on both sides. The doc said he could only do a T anchor incision because that is how lifts are done. I wanted anatomical/teardrop implants and he said he only does round, but because they are under the muscle, they will assume a teardrop shape and I have enough fat tissue on both sides to give me that shape. Ok, so either I can get an implant on both sides and a lift. OR I can get some fat removed from the larger one and a lift with no implants. First option is 9000, second option is 7000.

I want to be symmetrical and perky. I am only 20 and feel like I shouldnt have these boobs at this age. I just dont feel comfortable with the T incision, it leaves a noticeable scar and because of my skin tone, it will be even more visible. Isn't there a way to do a lift using a periarreolar incision or TUBA or anything? Can you recommend any doctor who is a pro at revising symmetry? I am willing to fly out of state, I just want to go to a guy who cares about his patients, has a good bedside manner, and knows what my goals are.

Any advice, suggestions, doctor's names would be helpful. I am located in Houston, Tx.

First of all, I always stress that people should go to at least two, if not more, consultations before undergoing any procedure. Unfortunately if you are going to have a lift, TUBA is not and option. I know that some doctors will do the incision around the areola with a lift that is simple. Sometimes the T anchor or key hole incision is the only option when a lift is involved. Please have another consultation to see what your options are. As far as what type of implant you should get, (if you opt to get them at all), silicone is a good option if there needs to be correction in shape. Mentor has an implant called memory gel that is FDA approved. You can ask your plastic surgeon if you are a candidate. I wouldn’t stress too much about scaring. If you pick an experienced plastic surgeon, minimizing the appearance of scars is their specialty. Ask to see before and after pictures of women who have had lifts. Scars fade with time (unless you have history of Keloids). Let me know if you have any more questions. Good luck to you
