I am looking for a plastic surgeon in the Houston area. So far I have been to one consultation but later read some bad reviews on the doctor. I want to know if anyone can give me some good names, I have been researching for a while online, I just want some first-hand opinions. I am looking to get my hump fixed (just needs 1.5 mm shaved off) and some architecture built up on the sides. Please, please give me some names...!

I WISH YOU LUCK . IM NOT SURE THAT THERE IS A GOOD WAY OF FINDING A GOOD PLASTIC SURGEON. I USED A DOCTOR LISTED AS A TOP DOC IN A MAGAZINE. IF YOU GO TO FORT WORTH {SOUTHLAKE } TO BE EXACT, RUN LIKE HELL IF YOU HEAR THE NAME CHRISTOPHER TYE. HE BUTCHERED ME !!!!! HE RUINED MY TUMMY AND PROCEDED TO TELL ME IT LOOKED FINE. I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO WEAR A BIKINI AGAIN. HE HAS NO BED SIDE MANNER AND IS AROGANT AS HELL. I SAY ALL OF THIS BECAUSE I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT HIM. I WISH I HAD. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR SEARCH!!!

My advice is always the same... Have multiple consultations. Always look at before and after pictures, ask for references!!!! Get a feel for whats out there! Its good to do your homework!!

I am in SoCal, but do tons of research on other forums as well (my plan is to move from A to a natural looking C by summer, but have some saving to do before I get there http://forum.plasticsurgery.com/app_themes/PSAlpha/image/mIcons/m15.gif ). Some of the best plastic surgeons I have researched are in Texas. Too bad for me:( Anyway, I found some really solid reviews on Dr. Tebbets http://www.thebestbreast.com/about/. But while I hear he does exceptional work, I think he is pretty expensive. I also am researching to find a female plastic surgeon. I have read in some other user reviews that female plastic surgeons tend to be more attentive to during the aftercare/recovery phase... I found a plastic surgeon on the lookingyourbest facebook page http://shm.ag/44l for Dr. Rich, and based on reviews from her site from other users, she is not only affordable, but provides really good aftercare during recovery. I am definitely interested in hearing if any of yall have found an affordable female doc in SoCal, or have any recommendations. Otherwise, I may have to fly to texas:) - TG
