second surgery for correction

Hi Stephanie, I just had asian eyelid surgery 3 months ago, and now it looks as if I never had surgery. I already had a little bit of a double eyelid before the surgery (that is not very noticeable) and just wanted a more enhanced look. After all the swelling has gone, my eyelids seem to look like I had before. I'm very disappointed--mostly because when I talked to the surgeon about it this week, he kind of just brushed it off and said that it looks fine and that asian eyelids should not look very high anyways. Well, I never wanted it to look high--i just wanted a natural noticeable double eyelid. The result really wasn't what how he told me it would look. My friends look at it and tell me its no different at all. He wasn't too thrilled to do another surgery. He told me that if I wanted to do another surgery, i would have to wait about 6 more months for all the underlying tissues to heal, which makes sense. But I'm really not sure if I want another surgery or what the risks are of another surgery. I had really bad reactions to the anethesia, which makes me feel that the whole surgery was just a really bad experience. What do you think? what possible complications could arise if I did a second surgery? Would he be able to fix it to look the way we had discussed before the surgery? Also, this is more of a legal question--is there anyway to just get my money back? I think i would rather just get my money back than have to go through another surgery again. oh, the other thing is, he is a very credible plastic surgeon. i checked his credentials--graduated from a top med school, served as assistant professor for the med school...I just thought, if he can teach top future doctors this stuff, he's gotta be really good at it right? Thanks, Callie
