T.U.B.A - Monday, April 03, 2006 3:42 PM
I have heard of the T.U.B.A method but was wondering if anyone has had it done. The recovery is supposed to be quick. And if you have it done this way can you still choose to have the implant infront/behind the muscle or is it only for a certain position? I know the cost of implants can vary but overall is the price the same or is this cheaper? Any additional information you can offer would be great. Thanks so much.

Hi! Almost positive that the placement of the implant depends on what you and your doctor decide on. I don't think it matters which insertion method you choose...

TUBA is becoming very popular. The implant type has to be saline for this procedure, but it can be placed in front of the muscle, or behind the muscle. This procedure is also advertised as being less painful than other breast augmentation techniques, and is said to have a faster recovery. The procedure takes about an hour, and the best part is... no visible scarring on the breast.
