tummy tuck fear - Tuesday, March 14, 2006 8:25 PM
hi everyone...
On April 13th I will undergo my 2nd procedure...Last year i had a breast augmentation at first i was very scared the pain i would go through after my surgery but believe it or not I was pain free due to my AMAZING PAIN PUMP...Now that im about to have my tummmy done the fear is even greater...Im a petitie female the dr sd he needs to tighten the muscles due a little lipo on the love handles and nip and tuck the excess skin cuased by my 2 pregnancies...My ? is have you heard of any patients using te pain pump that wre also pain free or just had minimal pain...or has anyone undergone this procedure and can give me a little feed back...My biggest fear is not knowing what to expect.[:)

THANX
Stephanie

A tummy tuck is generally a more uncomfortable procedure to recover from than a breast augmentation because it involves your core. Almost every movement that the body makes involves the use of core muscles (abdominal). However, if the pump was successful in keeping your pain to a minimum with your first procedure, it may do the same for your tummy tuck! You should discuss this with your surgeon.
