 Hi!

When having a tummy tuck, people tend to think that they have to do this procedure so that they can lose weight, when in fact, tummy tuck is not for those who want to lose weight as there is a different procedure for that.  It only removes excess skin and tightens the muscles of the abdominal wall.  I read in a website called Beverly Hills 6750 that they do tummy tuck and explain there what the effects, risks, candidates and other information you need to know about the procedure.  It's very informative and helps you prepare for the operation even before you go there for a consultation. One of the things it said that the best candidates for a tummy tuck is for men and women who are relatively in good shape but are bothered by fat deposits or loose abdominal skin that won't respond to diet or exercise.

You can read here http://bh6750.com/default/our-premium-services/aesthetic-plastic-cosmetic-surgery/body about tummy tuck

Hope this helps you! :)

I would definitely see a doctor before getting a tummy tuck. There are many other options available which can help you to avoid the scars, price and risks of such surgery. I realize that it's pretty safe these days, but still. I think weight loss pills mixed with a good diet and exercise is always better.
