Breast lift with implant
-
Thursday, April 01, 2010 9:14 PM
I am thinking of getting a breast lift, but I don't want to lose the ability to breastfeed if I decide to have another baby, or nipple sensation. My question is, can I get a small breast aug. under the breast with saline, like half a size or so? I mean, I already have large breasts (34f), and a good breast shape, they are just about two inches lower than I would like them to be, and I would like the results to last longer if possible.

I would strongly suggest that you wait until you are done having children before you have a breast augmentation or lift. Breast feeding will change the shape of your breasts and it may be more difficult to breast feed when you have implants. If you do not need any increase in size you should consider having a lift without augmentation

I was told by my doctor that If you are able to breast feed, that a breast augmentation with a lift will not interfere with that.

I just don't know why you would not wait. Breast feeding and pregnancy change the shape of the breast. It would be money better spent to wait

I agree with Stephanie. Breastfeeding will possibly have a negative effect on the shape of your breasts. Therefore, having a breast augmentation surgery later would be more logical, IMO.

Not everyone would be a candidate for a breast augmentation and a breast lift at the same time. It is very important for one to be informed before one undergoes any procedure. Good luck!

You should avoid surgery if you want to breast feed your baby, for further guidance contact some expert surgeon.

Yes it is absolutely possible to breast feed following a breast augmentation. Breast augmentation does not usually interfere with a woman's ability to breast feed. If you were able to breast feed prior to your breast augmentation, you should be able to breastfeed afterwards.

Most doctors will strongly advise you not to get breast implants unless you are definitely done with having children. While it's not impossible to have them and breast feed, it's not advised.

A breast lift is fundamentally different from breast augmentation in that the procedure is intended to enhance, not the size, but the shape of the breasts. Breast lift(or mastopexy) is a common breast enhancement procedure where saggy, drooping breasts are lifted higher up on the chest. fat grafting cost eyelid surgery price

I understand that you already have large breast and it looks perfectly at the moment. I would suggest that since your condition doesn't really call for immediate action (breast lift) for that matter...you must wait until your last baby to breast feed as there are cases that breast feeding affects improved breast. It can happen to you too..so you better wait. What's the need to rush?

I agree. Pregnancy and breast feeding can change the shape of the breast. If you are wanting to have more children, I would encourage you to wait until after you are done breast feeding to undergo a breast lift.
