Where should I start? - Monday, May 18, 2009 10:52 PM
Hey guys, I really need an honest opinion. I'm a 24 year old female, newly married, and I have always wanted to get plastic surgery, well at least for the past 10 years, as far as I can remember saying in school I wanted to be an actress and a kid said "not until you get that nose fixed". Ouch. It hurt, but it's true. And it wasn't just from him, I've heard it from family members "oh you've got the Rainey nose blah blah blah, you're still cute" but I want to be PRETTY not "cute" not "quirky". I feel that I am in my prime right now and I deserve to look and feel beautiful. Also, I got married in February and just NOW got my wedding photos back because my dear sweet photographer laboriously edited my face in so many of them, not only because she knows that I'm self-conscious, but also I'm sure for aesthetic purposes. I'm not exactly a beautiful subject. Now, no one tells me this, of course, to my husband I am just the prettiest thing, and I'm the epitome of the term "a face only a mother could love". Moving on, that's all fine and dandy, but it is my face, I am perfectly content with my cute petite little body and my lovely hair, but I want to LIKE MY FACE!! Can i please get some (kind) advice and (constructive) criticism. I don't know where to start, whether to get rhinoplasty, cheek implants, chin implants or maybe have my chin reduced, a face lift (god forbid, at my age), or fat injected in my lips. I dread that perhaps it would be all of the above, but I can only afford to tweak one thing right now and I'm treating myself. What would make the biggest improvement?

A couple pics. (I'm the bride, duh) Please reserve comments about tattoos, I do rather like those).

Also, the two below, notice the before and after. ouch. I DID look that bad before. Then note the DARLING after in which my nose has been tweaked to a little button, and my horrid narrow smile was fixed (my mom was unable to afford braces for me when I was young).
