Eyebrow lift cost - Friday, September 05, 2008 10:24 AM
I know that, according to your cost page, http://www.plasticsurgery.com/plastic-surgery/plastic-surgery-costs-a1534.aspx, the eyebrow/forehead lift, typically costs about $3,148. What is the variation in cost for having this procedure done on the east coast vs. west. I'm in New York and a family friend is a plastic surgeon, but another friend went to California and had the procedure done for cheaper. Is this difference in price somewhat standard, based on region or does it depend on the doctor or practice?

I think people are paying top dollar for plastic surgery in big cities such as New York or Beverly Hills. I don't think the difference is due to east coast vs west coast. You should try calling plastic surgeon offices just outside of New York and see if the pricing is less.

Hello,
Brow lift is a plastic surgery that is done to improve the facial appearance of a person. Usually the face looses elasticity due to the natural aging process. This leads to slacken muscles and lack of firmness. Brow lift, also known as forehead lift is a procedure used to remove the excess fatty tissues and skin from the forehead area. This results in a less wrinkled, firm brow and forehead skin.

This plastic surgery is most often opted as it also raises your eyebrows to a higher position. It improves the dull looking drooping eyebrows to classic raised eyebrow. This surgery is also known to soften the common horizontal wrinkles on forehead and the scowl lines between the eyebrows. If you are interested in having a brow lift surgery then, how much does a brow lift cost would be your basic query. So here's more information on brow lift procedure and its cost.

thanks!!

Hi,

If you're open to doing the surgery abroad, it'll be cheaper (including airfare and accommodation). That's what my mom did. She went to the Philippines for breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and chin augmentation last year. After a month, she flew back to NY. Everything looks really good.

Hope this helps.

The cost of a brow lift as an individual procedure is approximately $10,000.

Cost includes the following:
  1. Hospital Theatre/Overnight Stay
  2. Surgeon’s fee
  3. Anesthetist
  4. Post Operative Garment
  5. Post Operative Consultations

Hello,

Variation in cost dose not depend on east or west while depends on surgeon and facilities provided in hospital. May be your friend got the treatment on cheaper cost, so confirm all the procedure and facilities he got during the treatment and evaluate it you will get the answer.

From my experience, there is more variation from rural to urban facility, and maybe from a well-respected doctor as opposed to one who may be more wet behind the ears.  I don't think East vs West makes much difference.

One of the factors that affect brow lift cost is the surgeon’s fee. It will vary according to the surgeon’s location, market condition, expertise and trainings.

if a woman undergoes breast augmentation, her larger cup size will be seen right away, even if her breasts have scars or bruises. The same is true for rhinoplasty and most other types of plastic surgery – these physical benefits are right there.

Hi, Liyonardio,

My first thought is whether you have had your eyebrows waxed.  Waxing may provide the aesthetic appearance you are wanting.

Do you have any photos you could post so we could see how high your brow arches are?

Yeah! You are right. The cost for doing this cosmetic procedure has a huge dependence on the surgeon and the place you prefer. While doing this, your cosmetic surgeon will examine where your eyebrows are positioned, upper eyelid positioning, the amount of excess tissue, and your hairline.
