How long do the Botox injections last? and what happens to the Botox, does the body just absorb it?

Botox injections typically last about six months. However, the more injections a patient receives, the less often they may have to go in for follow up shots.

Also, Botox is not a facial filler; it is instead a type of toxin that works to paralyze the facial muscles. I don't think there is really much to absord, but rather the effects just wear off (kind of similar to a numbing shot at the dentist).
