How much does a Facelift cost in the US?

Hello everyone
In two months time, I will have facelift and upper eyelid surgery. My surgeon is considered the country's best and has patients fly from all over the world for surgery, including as far as the UK. As a result, his fees are high.
I'm wondering how much it costs in the US for such a procedure? I'm assuming that because medical insurance is so high, the price is very high, but am wondering if anybody is comfortable sharing such information.
The total cost for the facelist and upper eyelid surgery, anaesthist, operating fees, night nurse for one nights etc is about US$28,000. Is this on a par??
