The body can react to the disolvable suture and cause a bump or pimple similar to what you are describing. It may need to be removed. The only side effect I've had is having a pimple like bump develop on the incision line. This has happened a few times now. The first 2 times they went away by themselves but this third one has been around for a couple weeks now and, although easy to cover w/make up, it doesn't look like it's going away any time soon.
