Women have better luck breast feeding if the implant was placed behind the muscle, however if there was damage to the ducts during surgery it may be difficult. Women with implants are at higher risk for mastitis (a breast infection caused by milk duct obstruction). You should discuss your implants with your OB/GYN before the baby arrives in order to be properly educated. It never hurts to try breast feeding since it is the most healthy option for you baby!

breast implants (Irina)

can i breast feed with breast implants?
