If we consider the rise of liposuction, then very first procedure was performed in 1974, and with time, techniques improved and today we are at an advanced level. Liposuction can definitely help you out to lose from where you have extra deposited fat.

========================

Re:Liposuction in Mexico (Anna)

 The Mexican Council of Plastic Surgery has an alphabetized list of all surgeons who are board-certified in Mexico. Mexico is second only to the United States in plastic surgeries and yes they do work in modern and fully equipped hospitals, please. Obviously anyone who is going to have major surgery should be aware that it is real surgery wherever you might go and it is best to plan to stay around so your doctor can follow up. There are other countries that have medical tourism but for the high quality of care, experience and affordable travel Mexico really could be your best option. I am speaking from experience, I had my TT and breasts done in Cuernavaca.
Re:Liposuction in Mexico (San Diego Plastic Surgery)

 It's pretty natural to be nervous before a surgical procedure. However, it shouldn't be because you've never met your surgeon and don't know if he's qualified!

Regarding the comment by Janet above, having access to the right tools isn't necessarily the issue with plastic surgery performed in other countries. The fact that you don't have ongoing care is a problem.

So is figuring out if your surgeon is credentialed in an actual plastic surgery specialty and his/her track record with specific procedures. It's much easier to find that information out if you are selecting a U.S. surgeon who has privileges at a hospital.

Re:Liposuction in Mexico (Stephanie)

 What type of problems were they facing?
