ckey, Welcome to our forums! What type of procedure are you having done? There are various exercises that are recommended before and after plastic surgery procedures, but each one is catered to the specific procedure itself. :)

i just need info on why it is best to get in the best possible shap you can and this will make what the doc does look even better.than after surgery why if i keep weight training, cardio , and eating right i will get my best possible results. can you give me any articles that will back this up . that is that exercise before and after will help my results

ckey, Regular exercise before and after cosmetic surgery is best because the body is less likely to reject an implant or create an infection if it is in top running shape! Many articles can be found on this by doing a simple Google search for things like Plastic Surgery Exercise.

Being in tip top shape lowers your risk for any surgery. Working out, and weight loss, lower your blood pressure, improve your circulation, and improves your immune system. Smoking cessation is also very important before any surgery. Good luck to you. Stephanie
