Thin ankles - Monday, January 05, 2009 5:50 AM
Hi again Stephanie.

I'm a man and my ankles are too thin. Since the ankles have no muscle there is no workout to thicken them.
Is it possible to make them thicker with plastic surgery? I think I read somewhere there is not such thing as silicon implants for the ankles, but that it's possible to thicken them with fat (or other substance) injections. Is this correct?
I'm really unhappy with this sittuation, since my ankles look like toothpicks.

Thank you once again, Stephanie.

I would hesitate to sign up for fat transplant to the ankle. The reason being, it's not permanent. If the adipose (fat) is injected the cells can shrink changing the results.
