Brow lift gone bad??

HI there,

My mom just had a brow lift (sometimes called forehead lift). She had is on Wed. July 25th. THere is still some swelling but we have all noticed that one brow is lower than the other.

Her surgeon went on vacation the day after her surgery. What can we do? If it is not just due to swelling, does the surgeon have to fix it free of charge?

I know that you posted this question quite awhile ago, but how did everything turn out? Are your mom's results better? And was it just due to swelling?

From the looks of this page, http://www.plasticsurgery.com/eyebrow-lift/info.aspx, there would appear to be two different kinds of brow lifts: the open or endoscopic lift, or the classic. I realize its been a while now, but if your mom had the classic type, its possible her recovery time, visible scarring and swelling would be longer and more noticeable. I'm curious about how your mom's procedure turned out too, as a family friend's mother had the same procedure about 6 months ago.
