Reconstruction??
-
Wednesday, June 27, 2007 9:51 AM
I had a bilateral Mastectomy 3 & 1/2 years ago. I've had no reconstruction. I am very con-cave. I would like to just be flat. Is there a way to do that? Inject something? Something other than an actual implant? Thanks.

Don't get me wrong... I have REALLY nice scars!!! (EVERYONE I've showed them to agrees!) I'd just like to be flat instead of concave!! It shows under/through my shirts & dresses.

Most likely you will need some kind of implants. Find a reconstructive doctor in your area and have a consult to explore your options. Good luck.

I think an implant would be your answer. many women decide to have implants years after their mastectomy. They come in many sizes and are made from different materials. I am sure that the right surgeon will help you make a decision. Good luck to you.
