SMAS facelift - Sunday, November 26, 2006 8:23 PM
I´m having one in a couple of months.

Any tips? I know is a vague question but I haven´t had any surgery on my face before...What to expect? My surgeon is amazing but if anyone else has had one then do share your story...

Hi Natalie...I think you posted this awhile ago...did you already get a facelift? I know that there are a few variations to the procedure, depending on if you want a full facelift or the upper or lower part of your face lifted...hope that helps!

I'd love to see a response to this question, as I too am having a facelift in two month's time.  I'm starting to feel very nervous.  My surgeon is considered the country's best.....but I still worry about it.

Is this worry normal???

Hi Natalie,

Dont worry everything would be fine. But if you still have any doubts or need clarification then you can discuss it with Dr amiya prasad, practicing in NY for more than 10 years.  Check realfacelift.com for more info.

He is facelift and eyelid surgery specialist in Garden City and Manhattan, performs SMAS and also he consults online through skype.

Aussie girl,
This kind of nervousness or concern is normal for first treatment.
There are many more ppl you cud find on net, who have performeed 2-3 surgeries over the period of time. so dont worry much. Most important thing anyone should consider is surgeon selection and his/her experience in this kind of surgeries and check for their qualifications and specialization. That would really help to narrow down your search.
