PLASTIC SURGERY AFFORDABLE

Hi, my name is April, I'm 36, I want to relate my Plastic Surgery experience after my weight loss.

I had a Tummy Tuck + Breast Lift and Augmentation + Facelift done in Brazil by Dr.Manoel Cavalcanti.

He did an excellent job, I couldn't be happier, Dr. C is very skilled and I will never regret going to Brazil to have Plastics.

Plastic Surgery in Brazil is very affordable for us middle class Americans, Dr.C's clinic is also very well equipped.

Glad to hear that your experience in Brazil was positive.

Not too sure about going abroad to get plastic surgery done. True the price might be better and I get a vacation out of it. But what are your options if something goes wrong, Infections, pain, poor results? Are the medical standards the same? What about recovery and after care?

I am not sure how the follow up care works when surgery is done out of the country. If someone is considering this as an option, I would be sure to ask. Follow up is VERY necessary!

There are some countries where the medical standards are the same like in USA for example Argentina. Obviously you have to find a good doctor or clinic.

My name is Sivlna, I live in Madrid, Spain. I had two breast augmentation surgeries done in Spain. The first one the implants got infected so they had to be remove and wait six months untill I was able to try it again. The second time, the tissue around the implant developed strictures and the implants got deformed and encapsulated. It was horrible because my breast felt like frozen inside or as if they were rocks. Besides it was quite painful and heavy waighted.
I had several appointments with various well known phisicians in the field in Spain, but none of them told me exactly what to do. In addition my ensurance wouldn´t cover the expenses and I started running out of money. So I decided to look for a specialist in another country until I met Dr. Tomas Brosto who started treating me. I am confident now that my problem will be completely solved and I will be able to take off my underware again. I already had the first surgery and I feel great. But unfortunately I will have to stay in Argentina for the next three months until the expansors will be replaced for the permanent implants.

I´ll tell you. Surgery in all southamerica is quite affordable for US and European patients, but not every place is the same. I´ve been in many places in southamerica and I found that ARGENTINA is the only country where a patient from the 1st world might feel confortable enough to face a surgical procedure. Med school and sanitary conditions, regulated by the local government are very strict, so they are under constant surveilance. Besides everybody speaks English.
I´m currently working with a plastic surgeon in Argentina, but I do not intend to promote his services by using this forum. Hello, I happen to be from Argentina and I just came back from Colombia with my sister. She had a tummy tuck with lipo, breast augmentation and lift and botox. I won't talk bad about my country because we have great surgeons but the surgeries I have seeing from Colombia is great and the airfare is 500 dollars cheaper than my country and the fly time too. My siste did with cosmetic harmony and it went well and i'm sure their is others that do a good job as well.
