I have heard that your body could reject implants.......is that true? And if for that reason or any at all the implants have to be removed, does your breast become saggy or do they go back to the way they were before surgery?

When a breast augmentation is done, the body’s natural response is to put things back the way they were. With all implants, the body responds by forming a capsule around the implant. The capsule is basically scar tissue. This is a normal process, after all, the body knows that the implant is a foreign object. There have been rare occasions where patient’s bodies do not tolerate the implants and they have to be removed (a very rare occurrence). If this were to happen, your plastic surgeon could remove the implants. The breasts would not looked deformed, and if the breasts were saggy, a lift could always be performed. Hope this helps
