Rhinoplasty or nose job is the procedure of reconstructing nose. There are several reasons to undergo Rhinoplasty. Before that i would remind that Rhinoplasty is intended for those who are above 16 years of age. Exceptions are allowed in the case of immediate reconstruction following accidents or inborn deformities.
Rhinoplasty is taken for functional as well as cosmetic reasons, The functional reasons include mainly breathing problems resulting from damage to nasal structure following an accident, inborn nasal problems etc. Cosmetic nose job is performed to enhance the nose shape and structure. Many people think that correcting the nose to an ideal structure would improve facial looks. This is true.

Also, our sister site iEnhance.com has many real stories written by real patients concerning their experience with plastic/cosmetic surgery.  I encourage you to read some of their stories.

Yes, other than looking good, rhinoplasty can be used to remove nasal deformities. And that is the most useful benefit of this plastic surgery. Dr. Andrew Ordon
