Does anyone know if it's really true that the only procedure for breast lifts is through the area around the nipple? I'm thinking of having the procedure, but I was told that you could not go through the nipple area and that it would leave horrible, horrible scarring on the undersides of my breasts no matter what. Someone, anyone?

The incision site depends on how much tissue needs to be lifted. If there is a large amount of tissue, some is removed and the incision made is a "key hole" incision that does extend below the nipple. There is a second option for less dramatic lifts that involves only a small incision around the nipple. To view photos of this procedure click on the following link
