breast lift/reduction - Saturday, April 25, 2009 4:46 AM
Hi.. am new and have several questions..
I am 40 yrs old, mother of 2.
I had gastric bypass in 2003 and lost 111 pounds
I had a tummy tuck/lipo in 2005 and they removed 6 pounds of fat and skin, and I am well pleased with the results.
I met with the plastic surgeon last week for a consult on breast lift/reduction.
I have done countless hours of research online and am scheduled for surgery on Tues, May 12th, 2009
my question.......
I am a full DD cup. one breast is larger than the other (left side) and I do have back aches often !
I have alot of my own tissue left after weight loss so i dont think i need implants.
I am 5'5" tall and weigh 155 pounds
I am considering having him do a reduction and lift at the same time.   Do you think a C cup would be a good size for me..
I just want to make sure i do the correct thing.  I want them to look natural but perky where I can wear a tank top and not have to wear a bra.   So would you consider  a lift.. or lift /reduction? I can email pics if that would help in your decision..
I spoke with the dr about it.. but hes like.. well its your decision and my husband is in agreement with him..   so thats not alot of help.

I think  you would be more pleased with a lift and reduction. As far as cup size goes, your plastic surgeon should be able to give you some information regarding size that would best compliment your frame.  If you have large breasts I do not think that implants are necessary to give you your desired look. If you have a large amount of skin with little breast tissue you will want to consider implants. I think a C cup is reasonable for anyone. When you look at before and after pictures on web pages, some doctors will post the height and weight of the patient. This may assist you in making your final decision. Congrats on your weight loss. You must be pleased with your new body! Good luck.
