Research Questions For School - Monday, May 31, 2004 11:46 AM
Hello, My name is Carolyn, I'm a freshman in High School and I'm doing a research project about human beauty. If you could answer any or all of the following questions in the next few days it would be extremely helpful. Thanks.

1-What is human beauty?

2-What are some characteristics that beautiful people have?

3-What human beauty characteristics can transcend cultural/time period boundaries?

4-Can you really make someone beautiful, or are you just adjusting the flaws that they may or may not have?

5-Emily Dickinson once said, “Beauty is not caused, it is.” What is your response to this quote?

6-What makes one face more appealing than another?

7-Do you think there is some type of philosophy behind human beauty? Explain why or why not.

8-Are you familiar with PHI, the golden ratio? What significance (if any) do you think this number plays in beauty?

9-Do you think beauty is always subjective?

information is not from a doctor

Some say people that are more attractive have higher cheek bones, a thinner jaw, and larger eyes relative to the size of the face than the average ones did. So researchers have tried to apply mathematics to develop a model of beauty. Beauty is not bound by international borders, Japanese found the same European faces beautiful as the Europeans did, and vice versa.

Looks like some one want to get their homework done for them.

Use the search on the site PlasticSurgery.com. There is a lot of information to be found. Researching a project is easy compared with times before the internet. Now there is a world of information at your fingertips.

oK I myself is also doing a school project and I was wondering if anyone can help me on it.

My questions are:

What are the outcomes of having plastic surgery?

Are you satisfied with the work?

What are the negative and positives of the aftermath of plastic surgery?

Sorry if some of the questions doesn't seem to make sense but I'm kind of overwhelmed with the project. But if there are any other websites or anything that I can help can you please send it to me.

Thank you!
