Red veins on the nose - Wednesday, May 28, 2008 11:24 AM
I know this is not a question about rhinoplasty, But i hope someone can point me in the right direction. What is someone to do about unsightly red veins that form on the nose as we age? I would suspect that there is some kind of treatment, maybe a laser or something to help remove or diminish the appearance of these veins?

You are correct! Laser procedures are available to reduce the appearence of spider veins on the nose. You can speak to a Dermatologist or a Plastic Surgeon regarding this type of treatment. I would be cautious of creams and ointments that promise to reduce the appearence of these vessels. Laser is you best option. Good luck.
