Queastion about correcting tubular breasts
-

I am 30, and i just realized that my life long sorrows with my small breasts might actually be due to Tubular breasts. I am happily married, no kids yet, my husband did initially notice my breasts, although he says they don't bother him. Appearence: They are not noticeably asymmetrical, nor too conical, but I have small breasts (B cup - I'm a big girl though), that look like flaps when relaxed, with large areolae - my breasts look narrow, triangular and flap like, with wide, puffy nipples. This is less noticeable when my breasts are perked though (in the shower, for example) - the nipples darken and constrict, and the breasts appear slightly fuller. There is less than an inch of skin under my nipples, the flesh here does not round out and fold, rather, it droops, making my nipples point downwards. QUESTION: Is surgery my only option? Even then, will i HAVE to go for augmentation? I am uncomfortable with the idea of implants, and my husband will FREAK out. Is it possible to have corrective / reshaping surgery where my areolae are sized down and repositioned, WITHOUT having an implant? (i dont care about bigger boobs any more, I just want them to be normal :( ) I'd really appreciate a reply. thanks, TB

You could have a breast lift which may correct your breasts. With a lift, an incision is often made around the areola and the entire area, (nipple and areola) is lifted to reduce the sagging. If your breast truly are tubular, implants will be the best procedure in combiation with a lift. Many plastic surgeons offer free consultations. I would suggest having a consultation so you can explore all of your options. Hope this helps
