POST FACE LIFT LUMPS

IT HAS BEEN 18 DAYS SINCE MY SURGERY...I HAVE A LOT OF SWELLING IN THE AREA IF MY CHEEK BONES...HOWEVER MY BIGGEST CONCERN ARE THE LUMPS IN MY CHEEKS....WHAT CAUSES THIS AND IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO TO SMOOTH THE AREA....

Thank you for your question. Swelling and lumps following a facelift is not uncommon and most resolve within 6-8 weeks. The cause of the lumps in your cheeks may be due to sutures or swelling. Continue to see your surgeon on a regular basis and be sure to follow all of his/her postoperative instructions.
