Help

Good afternoon, i am the mom of a US Marine, twice deployed to Iraq, and the mom of two college students. i recently had all my upper teeth removed and given a denture. i am unable to tolerate the denture, and have not been able to speak, or to eat, in a month. i am slowly starving to death. Even with drinking Ensure as my meal, i have lost 11 pounds so far. i am also in danger of losing the day care business i have worked so hard to build, because i can not talk correctly to the children, and i am becoming so weak that i have started missing days. My dentist tells me that i have active infection in my remaining lower teeth (also some missing) and they need to be removed as well. If that happens, i will die. My dentist suggests implants, but at the cost of $50,000 that is impossible for me. i have written to every dentist, dental school, even the Department of Human Resources, in Maryland, to try to get some help, all to no avail. i don't ask for a complete makeover, although i surely could use one, but only help to stay alive. Is there ANY way anyone could help me?

I am sorry about your situation, but you might want to check out what your state health department might have for you. Also, what is wrong with the dentures?
