Facial Scar - Tuesday, January 06, 2009 1:42 PM
I was looking through the forum and general information on the website, and im just interested in facial scars... When I was about 7 years old I got chickenpox and ever since then on my right chick I have had a couple of chicken pox scars, they are hardly noticable in some light, but in others very; I've been looking into this over the past couple of months, and I have decided I really want to get it removed -somehow-

Ryanan,

Welcome to the forums!

There are a few different options in regards to scar revision which includes (but is not limited to) microdermabrasion, and Laser Skin Resurfacing. I'd suggest that you visit this page to learn more about scar revision and the options available to you: http://www.plasticsurgery.com/scar-revision/info.aspx

I have looked over it, but I wanted to get input on how the results would turn out, will the scars be completely removed, or hardly noticable?

Everyone has different results, depending on the severity of the scars. I can tell you though that if they are not very deep, you will probably have great success with something like microdermabrasion. I would look into it if I were you. :)
