Do you know how to find affordable procedures? - Wednesday, November 26, 2008 8:17 PM
I'm in my late 30's and since I'm job hunting, I want to put my "best face forward." I'm interested in taking a few years off my face with peel or whatever is recommended as well as a few tweaks with fillers (11's, mouth & eye areas). Is there anywhere in CT that I can find these procedures at an affordable price? I had a couiple of consultations and the best price for Botox I got was 17.00 per unit, and peels were 200.00 each and it was recommended that I buy a package for 800.00 for the peels and the Botox would be about 500.00. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and advice.

BEAddict,

Each person is different in regards to which procedure would be best for them. Some people have more sensitive skin and don't react well to things like Laser Skin Resurfacing while others aren't good candidates for Botox due to underlying health issues which may negatively react with it. This is why actually going in to see a doctor is a vital first step in this process, as you will know your options before doing further research to make your final decision.

I'm not sure about where you live in CT, but you can do a search for one here:

I would be sure to give your self sufficient time between the job interview and a facial peel. Botox is not a problem a day or two before a big event, but a facial peel can leave your skin red and irritated a few days following the procedure. Let us know what you decide to do and how things turn out
