Do breast reduction pills work? - Friday, September 12, 2008 12:37 PM
I've seen ads for breast reduction and breast enhancement pills. I don't think I'm gonna have either of these procedures, but I did wanna know if the pills actually work?

Just think about it, How would a breast reduction pill work? If the pill did work you would most likly still need a breast lift. Or you would have two under inflated balloons on your chest.

Hi,

I guess it's better to have Surgery than taking just pills as these pills have lots of side effects in your body. Even if you think you have to take pills then it will be better to have your doctors advise first.

I agree. Besides, are those breast reduction pills prescribed by your plastic surgeon? I think some cosmetic surgeons prescribe medication in preparation for or after the surgery, but I've never heard of breast reduction pills being prescribed alongside the procedure.

I totally agree to what SaraDavid said... May be they'll work but I just don't know if they have side effects...

Do not take such medicines before consulting a doctor. Usually breast reduction is effectively done by surgery.

I am unaware of any scientific clinical trial showing herbal supplements increasing or reducing the size of a woman's breast.  Traditional/conventional medications undergo rigorous scientific studies using randomized, controlled clinical trials designed to objectively measure the results.  Herbal supplements do not undergo such studies.  Further, although herbal supplements seem to be harmless, they can be potentially dangerous, especially to someone taking medication for a heart condition.  Serious, even fatal, interactions have been reported between cardiac medicines and some supplements.  I recommend you consult your physician before using any herbal supplement, especially if you are taking any medication for a heart condition. Exercise can increase the size of a woman's pectoral muscles, thus giving the appearance of a larger chest. However, a breast augmentation (augmentation mammaplasty) or breast reduction will definitely enlarge and reduce size of a woman's breast.

Hello,

Breast reduction with pills sounds odd as compare to getting surgery for it. Peels can improve the chances of other medical issue but in case of surgery most of the time if you get any reaction or irregularities in improvement then it affect to the particular area and not other parts of the body. Moreover symptoms of surgery can be resolve after next steps.
