Deflating implants

Hello all! I have a question for all those who have saline implants. How can you tell if one is deflating? My implants are 3 yrs old and my left one has changed in size and shape and I'm not filling up the cup of my bras anymore.

TIA!

it sounds like the implant may be leaking. Your primary doctor or your plastic surgeon may order an ultra sound of the breast to determine if the implant is leaking. I would not be too concerned, just make sure to follow with a doctor. One breast should not suddenly be much smaller than the other 3 years following an augmentation. A leak in the implant seems to be the most logical explanation

RE: Deflating implants

Augmentation surgery has minimal discomfort. Of course no pain is felt during the procedure and your doctor will most likley give you pain meds following your procedure. It takes about six weeks to begin normal activities. Some doctors will caution you to avoid using certain arm movements and driving for a period of time follwoing your surgery.
