Can you be too fat for a tummy tuck?

I am not really interested in gastric bypass or other more "internal" options for getting a head start on improving my body. But I am overweight more than the average person getting a tummy tuck from what I've seen. How much is too much to get a tummy tuck? Or would I need lipo first?

ORIGINAL: AnnaB Or would I need lipo first? Liposuction is just for small areas. Something that you have tried to diet and exercise away and it will just not go away. That’s when you use liposuction.

A good surgeon would evaluate your weight and help you set a goal for weight loss prior to setting a surgery date. It would be worth your while to accomplish a weight loss goal prior to having a tummy tuck because you would most likley be more satisfied with the results and you would be less likley to have to undergo multiple procedures such as lipo and tummy tuck
