Breast Augmentation - Tuesday, February 21, 2006 9:15 PM
I am 13 months post op and have noticed something that feels like an air bubble in my left implant? My implants are under the muscle. I was wondering if anyone has exoerienced this before?

If you are feeling any type of lump/ mass you should visit your surgeon as soon as they can get you in. They will most likely order an ultrasound to figure out exactly what you are feeling. It is unlikely that what you are feeling is an air bubble. A possibility is simply scar tissue or breast tissue that has been pushed to the surface by the implant. I would advise that you seek the opinion of your plastic surgeon, or your primary physician.
